Stephanie Linette Vick

Stephanie Linnette Vick was born on September 29th, 1965, in Evansville, Indiana. She is the beloved daughter of Talmadge Vick Sr. and Inez Bledsoe Vick, and the little sister to Talmadge Vick II.

Stephanie attended Benjamin Bosse High School. During her high school years, she was a varsity cheerleader, a member of the drama club, pep club, debate team, and played tennis. She also served as a junior class officer, had honor roll every semester, and played the violin. Stephanie Vick graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1983, her hard work earning her a well-deserved spot on the National Dean’s List.

She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a full-ride academic scholarship to attend Tennessee State University. Stephanie was initiated into the Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at Tennessee State University in 1985. She was proud to be part of the esteemed line known as the “28 Unseen Queens,” where she was affectionately called “Repetition,” a name that reflected her unwavering spirit.

Stephanie was also the freshman class president, a sophomore representative, vice president of the Student Government Association, a member of the honors program, and a member of Tennessee State’s Cheerleading Squad. Stephanie completed her B.S. in Communications degree in 1987 and made the National Dean’s List. She received a scholarship to attend Tulane University's Law School in 1988, after graduating from Tennessee State University.

A few years later, Stephanie moved to Decatur, Georgia in 1994. There she built her career as a pharmaceutical sales representative. She met Landon Corbin, whom she married, and from their union have a daughter, Lindsay Inez Vick Corbin.

Stephanie was most recently a Sales Representative for Boehringer- Ingelheim. She had over 20 years in pharmaceutical and medical sales. She also worked as a medical courier, substitute teacher, and mail services worker.

Stephanie was a member of New Life Church in Decatur, Georgia. She is a faithful believer in Christ and took much-needed action along with prayer to help members of her community. There she found community in the many member groups, including Sunday School. She found purpose in biblical counseling, serving in community projects, teaching SAT prep, and providing guidance on resume building for upcoming GA student graduates. Throughout her entire life, Stephanie Vick will forever be cherished for her radiant, joyful presence and boundless compassion that uplifted the hearts of everyone around her. She was known for her balance of wisdom, optimistic realism, humor, encouragement, and fun-loving personality that inspired hope and joy in the lives of many people. Stephanie’s spirit was a beacon of positivity, reminding us all of kindness, laughter, and love.

Stephanie Linnette Vick passed away on August 4th, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was surrounded by the love of family and close friends. She is preceded in her passing by her parents, Talmadge and Inez Vick. Family members remaining to cherish Stephanie’s memory are her daughter, Lindsay; her brother, Talmadge Vick II; her nephews, Talmadge Vick III and Cameran Darrett (Rachael Darrett); great-nephews, JaRon and Grayson, and Landon Corbin; and multiple extended family, friends, colleagues, and sorority sisters.
